BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYPROPYLENE (BOPP)

Biaxial Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films are manufactured out of polypropylene by casting into film and further stretching it into the machine and cross directions. The BOPP films have excellent clarity and smooth surface, good chemical and abrasion resistance. Selected BOPP films also provide resistance to UV light. These films are preferred to achieve good moisture barrier.

FILMS SPECIAL FEATURES

  • In 5-Layers BOPP, we can produce label grade films with varying gloss and density which impact on yield.  These substrates can also be produced with very high heat seal strength (> 1000 gm/25mm).

  • These Hi-Res metallising machines provide uniform deposition of aluminum on the film substrates and resulting uniformity in barrier properties.

  • Optical density can be produced from 1.8 to 3.0 for metallized OPP film
